Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I just remember my whole life revolving around music since I was little. My parents were in the business, my mom, a manager, my dad, a singer, rapper, and producer. My grandparents played instruments. My brothers and I all make music. It was a very big part of my childhood.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

I got to meet Brandy and sing for her! We did some runs together and she actually took photos with me on her phone and texted them to me, she is so sweet and genuine. Meeting her was insane. She’s a real angel!

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

I feel like, you burn out when you lose focus and just do things that seem productive but aren’t changing the outcome of the goal you want to achieve. I would say make a plan with steps to take daily, weekly, monthly, etc. To help you achieve small goals towards a bigger one!

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

Cliché but my mom. She’s supported me since I showed her the first song I wrote. She gave me the tools to be able too to experiment with my style, train with awesome people, and eventually moved me out to California where I got a lot of work done and got the ball rolling for this release.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

Well, I’ve gained some followers online, whom of which I talk to a lot. I’ve known them for years now, and I feel like I’ve watched some of them grow up. A lot of the people I talk to want to sing and are young but not that confident. The closer we’ve gotten, they seem happier and more confident in themselves.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

This is kind of like be yourself but better, be your own role model. For real, when you think of it that way you become the best version of yourself for yourself and your life turns into everything you want it to be! I went through a lot of crazy things when I was younger and I struggled with being positive at times. The one thing that helped me the most was telling myself that you have to take the good with the bad and if the bad is right now good will soon come. The older I got, I started pushing through things more, thinking I have to do this for my younger self, she would be so proud and excited to see this is how things turned out and my life really turned full circle.
