Interview with Zakir Ahmed (@mrzakirahmed)


Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path? 

Zakir Ahmed was a sportsman but he was always passionate about theatre and films. So later his family pushed him and supported him to choose what he really loves and he can do his whole life without any regret and he ended up joining (Acting) theatre in LA, California. From there he’s acting career started and currently his happy and doing good in this field too. 

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this? 

While creating a character once he ended up staying with homeless people for 2 weeks and that 2 weeks became one of the best times of his life he learned a lot on that 2 weeks. Their stories and their struggles changed his viewpoints towards life. One of the homeless was a struggling actor one was tortured by his family so much in childhood there he lost hope and motivation to live and do anything and one didn’t even know where she came from.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”? 

Study, Watch, focus, and keep working by yourself no matter what. There’s always someone and somewhere writing something for you. Know the history because if you don’t know the history you can’t make one. 

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story? 

A friend of Zakir showed him that what exactly real hard work is she was working 24 *7 and by just observing her he learned so much. She was always there to guide to make understand with honest reviews and to push harder and harder and he is and he will be always thankful to her.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world? 

By using voice as an artist he was never failed to use his voice against anything wrong That was happening in society. From protecting a girl getting beaten by a man to standing on a protest against racism.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life? 

Life is a great travel trip but the problem is that it doesn’t come with a map. We have to search for our own ways to reach the destination.
