Interview with Zaid Alrashed (@zaid_alrashed1)

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I studied music and played violent all my life and have a master’s degree in music. When I was 17, I was in the school band, out of the entire school I was chosen to sing in the biggest festival of the year ( Mahrajan Babel). That was a huge deal. People loved my performance and voice. That’s when I knew I want to sing for the rest of my life. I have pictures from that event.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

I sang with one of my childhood favorite singers Fouad Salim famous Iraqi singer and I sung with many more very famous singers.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

Study music and love music.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

Honestly when I was growing up and where I lived singing was not a priority. I loved singing so much I pushed my self hard and worked hard and made it.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

Yes, I always try my best to help other singers who are trying to make it but no one gives them a chance. I always help people in need. I feel like helping others will always come back to me when I’m in need of help.

“Keep trying until you succeed.”
