Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
Growing up, I’ve always been out of shape. I was always discouraged to try sports or to walk into a gym. I never had anyone, not even in my family to help me change my physical fitness level. I was always critical of myself and had a low level of confidence and respect for myself. Once I joined the military, pp I began to lose weight and to work on my body and myself every day. I lost a total of 75 pounds and never turn back. I made a promise to myself to remain at tip-top shape and to be a motivator to others.
Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?
I’ve become an ambassador for several companies and have made money for myself and them as well. I’ve gotten myself to a level where now I get $500 worth of free supplement and gear each month. That didn’t come free. I earned that from my hard work and dedication, which lead over to gaining support from my supporters and fans on social media. That took a total of 2 years, and my fan base is continuing to grow.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?
Know what you are capable of. No one to give yourself a break. It will be times when your body will tell you to relax. Thank you for yourself as a machine that you are constantly working on, tweaking. You have to fine-tune it. If you’re not careful with it, you can also break it, and although that you can fix it there are some repairs that cannot be made. However, understand your body in the know that you can push through limits in seeking new potential.
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
Honestly, I’m just grateful to see everyone successful. Every day before I hit the gym, are going Instagram and look at successful, professional bodybuilders hitting the gym in a gets me to motivate it. That makes me wanna go to the gym and kill it a day. So I don’t have a particular person. I also heard people say that about me and I think that’s kind of cool.
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
I was a United States Army drill sergeant for 42 months, I was able to use my expertise in fitness to help thousands of soldiers. I have helped thousands of soldiers lose weight and achieve outstanding levels of physical fitness. I know for a fact I’ve done some good in this world. I get messages every day from people saying how I motivate them from just my photos and videos, I continued to do that on a daily basis.
Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
” Even if you fall flat on your face, you’re still moving forward.” This will always stick with me. In the physical fitness world, we face injuries and setbacks, but as long as we keep pushing, we got it. I’ve had hernias and all other types of surgeries and I’ve always found a way to bounce back.
