Interview @ Tiny Toes and Tiaras (tinytoesandtiaras)

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I was in the United States Air Force and I used to customize baby clothing and items as a hobby. When I left the military in 2012 I decided to monetize that hobby. I love servicing families. Servicing people and making them smile has always been my thing.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

I think one of the most interesting stories is actually having Chris Brown’s Daughter Royalty Brown wear my brand in the Red carpet at the American Girl’s Brunch last holiday season.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

I think I would tell them to have fun. Don’t overthink, don’t over exhaust yourself. Networking is important.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

Yes, I am actually grateful for my family honestly. They are the ones who make the biggest sacrifices in order for me to achieve my dreams.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

I am a giver by nature. I am always giving. I use my business to bring opportunities to people who otherwise wouldn’t ve given an opportunity. Some of the individuals who are in a group home for individuals who have mental disabilities often come to my store for work, so that they can get their snacks or food for the week. It’s actually cool to be in a position to try to make a difference.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

“You reap what you sow”. Whether good or bad we get what we put out in the universe, so I try to treat everyone right. In doing so and just being kind to people. Some amazing doors have opened up for me.
