Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
I grew up around negativity in northwest London around the wrong crowds of people. On the verge of gang violence and permanent school exclusion. Acting gave me a vision and a purpose for my life in many ways it redirected me.
Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?
The most interesting story is that a young person at risk them-self got inspired through one of my performances to change their life around and put down the knife and street life.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?
Remember your why that will keep you more than anything especially in uncertain times such as this. When you have that why you’ll never give up you will keep persevering.
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
There is a specific person as different people have helped stimulate my growth and inspired me along the way. I have had different mentors such as Darren Raymond, Tosin Cole, Mark Rylance who have given me a word of encouragement and showed me my dreams can be achieved.
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
Yes, I have used my platforms to be a voice to those that are voiceless, speaking on issues affecting the community and young people to spark change.
