Interview with Nathaniel Lanken (@timelessmotor)

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path

I have been an original Content Creator for the past 5 years. Setting trends in the offroad and automotive aftermarket community. Blazing a trail for many to follow with original ideas and pushing the limits of what’s possible on new automotive platforms such as the Jeep Renegade, Jeep Comanche, Jeep Wrangler, and more. I recently started making consistent youtube videos about my Adventures and how-to guides as well. I have amassed a large following of enthusiasts who look to me for advice on the regular. I also created Las Vegas Jeep life a Jeep Club of over 2500 people here in Las Vegas and we have done Charity events, Public service events such as National park clean-ups, and more. I own Timeless holdings the Parent of my new Company Off-grid Research and we are developing new products for the Jeep aftermarket community and Jeep Renegade platform. My youtube channel has gotten over 100k views and growing constantly.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

I was contacted by multiple companies to run their social media including Avid Essentials LLC, Roam offroad and Adroit cycle works. They ended up hiring me as Vice president of Marketing and sent me across the nation creating original content for their products. I also built them a Custom Jeep Wrangler for Roam offroad and Jeep Renegade for Avid essentials and was sent to Moab Utah to represent them at Easter Jeep Safari 2 years in a row.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

I recommend producing original content, thinking outside of the box, and to not follow other people’s footsteps but to create your own path and stick to it despite what anyone may think. High-quality imagery and a good story go a long way. Be authentic and true to your roots.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

I can’t thank one person in particular but I can thank many of the Major content creators of today for inspiring me to follow my dreams and stick true to my path of creating original content of my own. It’s important to realize that no matter how small or insignificant you think you are at first if your information is correct and consistent people will take something away from what you have to offer and come back for more.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

Absolutely. I have inspired and helped countless people pursue their own venture as a content creator. Giving them hope to follow their dreams. I’ve built hundreds of vehicles for people, answered countless questions, and given advice when no one else would. My Jeep club Las Vegas Jeep life has given a home to people without friends and united people of all different backgrounds. We have also given back to the community with Christmas present drives for families in need, Jeep parades for young kids birthdays and school dances, Flag runs for fallen soldiers and to show patriotism for our country and on top of that we have done National Park cleanups picking up hundreds of pounds of trash to give back to the community and leave it a better place for all to enjoy. Now currently with youtube, I’ve been able to take people along with me through journies and let them live vicariously through me and my experiences. Also giving guidance and motivation to get out and do it themselves.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

“Everything happens for a reason” Good or bad we learn from all our experiences and they shape us and mold us into a stronger person. We grow from our mistakes and cherish our accomplishments. Every opportunity I have been given in life and every opportunity I had to give up has put me on a path closer to true success. Life is an endless journey and we are constantly learning about ourselves and others. I had to give up my Local business, my car dealership, and custom shop Timeless motors to pursue a career in professional content creation and marketing, and I’ve learned from it all. I wouldn’t change a thing and cant wait to see what the future holds.
