Interview with Bar Elhayani (@barmusician)

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

What brought me to this career path was singing since the age of 3. An later on I started to play guitar at the age of 9. Where I spent a lot of time learning different types of music on guitar, and rock music was a big one, and also posting covers on social media. A couple of years later I came out with original songs on YouTube. An then found myself writing and producing my own songs which were posted on SoundCloud, YouTube and later came out with a single “Don’t you Worry” which got on all platforms.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

An interesting story that happened while doing this is me posting a lot of covers and getting exposure on social media such as Instagram. This helped me build a base where people really supported which showed me that people are interested in my music and always look forward to new covers and original songs.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

If you believe you got what it takes go for it and don’t let anything bring u down.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

My mom is a person who always supported me. Always made sure I get comfortable singing and playing guitar in front of people. Also, my dad always said “If this is what you want show it to us” don’t be afraid and always do your best no matter who is watching.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

I’ve used my success to bring goodness to the world because if you succeed in any way that can show that your good in what you do, and your actually serious about what you do.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

“Do what you love, and don’t let anyone bring you down” this is relevant in my life because if you love something and you believe you want to go on with it nothing should stop you. People’s bad energy shouldn’t stop you from doing it. At the end of the day what u wanna achieve is up to you and u should do what you believe is best.
