Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path? 

I love the arts all my life, growing up in a church family. music was all we had and knew. So at the age of 13, I was writing music and teaching myself how to instruments. 19+ years later I’m still working in entertainment and been blessed to work with a lot of great artists.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this? 

As of right now, the most interesting thing that has happened was going from the analog era into the new digital era. Took some time off since 2008 starting back in 2015, things have changed but it’s for the better.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”? 

Being able to balance out career, family, and personal life. Make sure you also have time to enjoy personal time to yourself.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story? 

Tamela Mann, Deitrick Haddon, Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, & Kanye. They’ve all provided great mentorship and leadership throughout the years.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world? 

Yes, I have used my music platform to open doors for other local artists. Also, have a local foundation where we do backpack giveaways, help the youth & others in need, charity events, etc.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life? 

“To get through things, you have to go through things. In order to value the things you have accomplished.” Growing up in the streets of Pasadena / Altadena, the challenge of getting through everyday life makes me appreciate life learn lessons.
