Interview @ Keg Sluggers Sports Bar

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

We have always had a great passion for hosting people, the love for sport went hand in hand with our sports bar theme.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

We are known as a Dodger bar. During the 2018 Dodgers vs Redsox worlds series, channel 7 (ABC) reported from our location throughout the day.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

Connect with your customers, build a bond and they are your number one promoters. They support you repost your fliers and word of mouth will always be paramount. Get involved in your community find ways to help, city cleaning, volunteering any way possible just get involved be known. Brand yourself make yourself one of a kind and make your logo a household name. The goal is to promote and market yourself where no matter where someone looks they see your brand. And the last thing would be content, take lots of pictures and videos make commercials and constantly post, every day all day long you want to be in everyone’s face all the time. Helps build that connection with your customer and keeps you on there mind wanting more and more content.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

My family for always supporting me, when times are tough and I want to give up they give me the motivation to keep going and building for a better future for all of us. My parents, brother, and sister all came to my opening day and seeing their smile was a great experience and just want to keep succeeding so I can continue making them proud.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

We donate to many charities and non-profit organizations. We work closely with the Westminster Boys and Girls Club volunteer time and donate equipment and other materials they may need. We also work closely with the TG Boxing gym in South Central Los Angels. They are a nonprofit boxing gym that works with at-risk kids to keep them

Out the street and out of trouble. Many of the kids come from low-income homes so we donate the fees that come with tournament registration and covering the cost to get them to all local and regional tournaments with USA Boxing.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

Dream big never stop dreaming, our dream is to one day be a sponsor for the Los Angeles Dodgers to see our logo at the stadium would be our life long dream and every day we work towards making that dream a reality.
