Nothing says summer quite like baseball games. Baseball is the American national pastime. The game has existed in the country with a long history and general consistency, over decades. The game is played with a bat and a ball between two opposing teams who take turns batting and fielding. The main objective of the game is for the batting team to hit the ball into the field of play while the players run the bases to score a run. The fielding team prevents batters from running and scoring. A run is scored when the batter runs counter-clockwise around the field bases and touches the home plate. The game is a favorite among many. It takes skill, luck, and hard work to have a shot at becoming a baseball player. Bryant Salgado is one such baseball player who has made it big in the game.
