Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

Growing up as the youngest son of 4 boys I quickly learned that I enjoyed making people laugh and telling stories. I always knew I wanted to be an actor and it’s been my passion and profession for many years. Starting out in Elementary school plays and then taking a break in high school to get more involved in sports, before I quickly learned that performing was what I intended to do as a career. I went to the University of Memphis and got my bachelor’s degree in Theatre Performance. This is the same bachelor’s program that the late Michael Jeter attended. It is a lovely school and I think Memphis as a city has many talented actors and actresses.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

During my senior year of college, I was accepted into the acting program at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York City. An alumnus of this same program includes Marlon Brando, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Benicio Del Toro. This program really allowed me to immerse myself into a small group of actors and professors who lived and breathed the art of Acting. Being in New York allowed me to act alongside many talented artists in tv-series and movies such as Boardwalk Empire, Now You See Me, A Persons of Interest, and more.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

Something I’ve been told before is to always stay true to yourself. Whatever your goals or dreams maybe, if you stay true to yourself and stick it out, good things tend to happen. Sometimes life takes you to unexpected places and as long as you’re happy, you’ve achieved success in my book.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

I am very grateful to my parents. I know without a doubt they have encouraged me to follow my dreams since I was a child. Sure all parents think their children at special but my parents were very good at reminding me to work hard and that good thing happens to people who work hard for them.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

One of my biggest passions is helping people. I enjoy listening to people’s stories, life lessons, and problems. I think that everyone has a voice that needs to be heard. We all have a unique story to tell. That’s one of my reasons I am so drawn to storytelling. I fall in love with the characters I play and getting to tell their story on stage or film is a dream come true.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

“Life’s a journey.” I guess my biggest take is that no matter what your goals are and where you are at achieving them, life is a journey and the trip never truly ends. As long as you stay true to yourself and have fun along the way, wherever you end up, you will be right where you belong.

How can our readers follow you on social media?

During the pandemic, I am trying to help grow and expand my social media presence to help further my professional and personal goals. Anyone looking to follow me can find me on Instagram, IMDB.com, or Facebook.
