Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
Music production and writing have been a hobby for a while, who doesn’t love music? That is why I started creating my own! I have always had it easy to remember lyrics, I wish it was that easy to remember homework… That was also a reason because music really reaches people and I want to do it the right way.
Me and my father build a home studio a couple of months ago and that is when I felt that the opportunity to create more professional music came.
My little brother is a Swedish rapper with no released songs yet, my girlfriend’s cousin is a singer and we have recorded a lot of songs that we will release in a couple of weeks so this journey hasn’t really started yet but the work has been put into it!
Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?
After my first 3 song releases got a lot of total streams my father saw that music is something that I could work in. When I saw the look on his face that something that is my hobby turned out so good I really felt proud of myself because I never really had anything that I put my heart into 100%. Now I finally found it.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?
I never stick to one project for a long time, because my head really gets tired of listening to the same song/loop/sample over and over again. That’s almost the worst thing with producing. I ALWAYS take breaks after a couple of hours. Maybe a walk with the dogs or watching some Netflix, just to take my mind of the work and calm down.
Also, if the studio or workroom isn’t well ventilated it is really easy to become tired and so… I’d rather have headphones and a laptop in a park than sit in a wardrobe.
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
My fiance, my mother, and my father really helped me to turn this hobby into a lifestyle. It started as something I wanted to learn, and also to have fun. But when they heard my songs they also told me I had potential and that I should commit to this. Because they all know that I want to work with something within the music industry.
My fiance has really helped me finish a lot of songs, she gives me feedback that no one else gives and I really appreciate that. Even though she can be harsh sometimes I am really lucky to have her honesty and that she is so helpful considering this is my interest and not hers.
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
I wouldn’t call myself successful yet, but I really believe in helping the less lucky in this world. I’ve always loved helping people because seeing the happiness and thankfulness in their eyes is everything. The eyes never lie.
Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
Treat others like you want to be treated is the most important rule I have. I have always been kind to people and I’ve never encountered a person that has been bad to me to my face because of my kindness and that I always tell people the truth the right way.
I am not a straight forward person when it comes to talking, I like to always have the person I’m talking to be in a good mood. And I really want that back because you always want positivity in your life, whatever happens, that is why I surround myself with people who are happy, energetic, and positive. We need more of that in this world.
How can our readers follow you on social media?
I only have Instagram at the moment because I don’t have a lot of time to keep up with all the social media because of my current studies. That could change in the future.
