Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I had an entrepreneurial spirit for as long as I can remember. My parents joke to this day how I used to sell ice blocks during winter to my playmates in kindergarten to build snow bunkers. Being an entrepreneur was the only logical career path for me when it came time to choose what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

I would have to say that there isn’t just one story. Lunching startups in different verticals give me a unique opportunity to work with other business owners in industries I did not know even existed. For example, I recently spoke with a client who works with exotic pet owners helping them procure insurance for their pets. Hyacinth Macaw can cost around $15,000, and I never thought about how you would need to figure out a way to ensure the health of your beloved bird. Fascinating.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

My recommendation for any sales professional or a startup founder is to find a hobby outside of your industry. We all get caught up in everyday routines, and if you don’t have an outside hobby that you look forward to doing, you are guaranteed to burn out.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

As for most entrepreneurs, my family was my support system. Even though all the lows that I encountered, they encouraged me to keep going.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

I am a strong believer in investing in your local community. I am partnered with a local nonprofit Angel View serving children and adults with disabilities. They help adults from many valley communities participate in their therapeutic Day Program, headquartered in Desert Hot Springs. They also assist local families struggling to raise children with disabilities through our Outreach Program.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

“Honesty is the first chapter in the book of wisdom.” -Thomas Jefferson
