Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
Makeup and fashion have always been something I have always been really into. Growing up I have always thought dressing in my mom’s clothes was fun. When I was 18 years old I saw Rihanna’s Disturbia video and automatically I wanted a dress and look like her. I had a friend of mine do my makeup for Halloween and the rest was history. Digna was born!
Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?
Every day is a roller coaster. The most amazing story I can tell is how through drag I have learned to love myself even more. That is a journey you can not replace.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?
Have fun and know your limits. Don’t burn yourself out by doing too much. It’s ok to stop and take a breath once in a while. It’s the only way you can truly appreciate what you have.
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
I am grateful for my close friends and my drag family, they continue to give me the strength I need to push forward through everything I want to do. Thank you, friends. 🤍
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
I use my platform to promote love, joy, happiness, and everything I believe in that’s right. 🙂
Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
Love dies without sacrifice. Pretty self-explanatory.
