Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I was born in London but raised in Ibadan, Nigeria, where I spent most of my childhood. This was where my musical journey started and my love for making music was born.

In 2009, I was in a music group called X-Element and they were popular in school. I later relocated back to the UK where my sound was transformed. From the SMC group to 2BADA, and now as a solo artist, my sound has evolved over the last 10 years.

I’ve been regarded as a diverse artist, with influences from various genres of music.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

My latest single “Vacationship” was rated “fire” by 4x Grammy Award-winning executive record producer Anthony Kilhoffer (credits- Michael Jackson, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Travis Scott, to name a few) on his A&R Live session on Instagram with Music and Entertainment heavyweight Bankuli (Good Music)!

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

I believe consistency and hard work are key. Without that, it’s easy to lose guard and burn out.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

I probably wouldn’t have gotten into music without influences from legends such as D’banj, Wande Coal. I also feel that the people I’ve met in my journey have been a key part of my success.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

My plan is to begin investing in young and upcoming artists to give them the platform and resources they need to breakthrough.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

I always say success is when opportunity meets preparation.
