Music is an effective form of therapy for both the listener and the creator. It allows us to reflect on our thoughts and calm down our anxieties to a great extent. Music is an unfiltered form of creativity. It provides the artist with an outlet to express their thoughts and spread their message. Music helps in expressing complex emotions such as love, anger, and even hate.

Artists have used music as a way to promote their culture and bring the issues of their community to the limelight for decades. They have been the driving force behind many great movements. Music can be used to convey the message of a small community to millions. Musicians have an extraordinary ability to unite people from all walks of life under one umbrella. This is where Ogundipe realized his passion and love for creating music. In his school days, Davis was part of a popular Musical group called X Element, many students looked up to them and admired their talent. This group taught Davis a lot and allowed him to create his own sound. After relocating to the United Kingdom, Damola’s sound underwent a complete transformation. Since he is an incredibly versatile artist Damola found it easy to adapt his music to fit in with what was popular in the UK while still showcasing the unique sounds and characteristics of his Nigerian heritage.
