Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

Ever since I was an adolescent, I was always interested in beautifully styled hair. While in high school, I was studying to become a beautician as well. So when I graduated high school I also graduated as a beautician. Seven years later, I opened my first beauty salon in Jamaica, New York. By the time I was 29, I opened my second Beauty Salon in Queens Village, New York. As I kept building more clientele, as per customer demands, and complaint about not being able to find a non-shedding, soft to touch, virgin, good quality bundles for weaving, or quality wigs. I decided to launch my own hairline “nausicahaircollections” as know as luxuryhair4u. Today my hairline been in the market for over 2 years. I sold thousands worth of dollars of hair care products, bundles, and wigs, and I will continue to thrive for better outcomes, more sales, and keep making people smile every time they purchase my hair Line.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

Since I started “Luxuryhair4u” business, love and hip hop celebrity like Yandy Smith has given my business a shout out on her insta story, I hang out with “50 cents” Curtis Jackson backstage at one of his promotional events, that I was a part of, as I promoted my hair business. I’ve been able to travel more all over Europe, because of the success that’s I’ve been having. I’ve never been happier.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

Make everyday count as if it was your journey first day.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

I want to say, first, it was God, then it was all my clientele from Southside Jamaica, New York, who believed in me, pushed me to go for it, and to my other half who financially invested in my first beauty salon back in 2010, and seeing my boys who gave me strength to keep going.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

I’ve donated free wigs to a few cancer patients and styled with a free bundle of hair 2 newly graduated to go on their interviews, and they both got the jobs.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

“Depi tet ou pa koupe espere mete Chapeau”.

This quote is actually in my native tongue, “creole”, as I’m going through life and building my empire, I kept hoping and still hoping that one day I will be so successful, I’ll be able to help so much more people, get to their highest level of achievement.
