Interview with Mario Puglia (@mariopuglia)

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

To express my feelings through music.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

I came to Toronto – Canada for my post-secondary studies finishing the “Music Industry Arts & Performance” at Centennial College. I started working on my own productions while studying and got the attention of Fabio Acosta (head of “Akela Family” one of the most respectful indie labels in Latin America).

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

To fail! haha. Failure is the best tip for ourselves. Then, confidence and maturity to understand your failures and get back on track stronger ready to thrive.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

Family First. Mom and Dad have been very supportive from the beginning of my career. They bought me my first guitar because I was doing well in elementary school lol! Also my friends play a big role in my success, they show me the best ways ever to improve and to thrive.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

Inspiring others. Making people know that “failure” is part of a process where we all go through.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

Self-analysis is vital. I was going through a different path from what i wanted in life until i got to listen to myself and realized the power of our minds and how strong our thoughts are!
