Interview with Shaunevalice Lee (@808nokaoi.creations)

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I started doing photography and graphics as a hobby and later got a degree in graphic design from The University of Devry in Decatur, Georgia. I started doing photography for my kid’s sports and logo designs for the organizations they played for and more and more parents and celebrities would ask me to take photos of their child and then graphics for their logo or their album. Soon I became a regular for the Honorable Court with Honorable C.N.O.T.E., then Big Boi & Sleepybrown. Soon I had lots of music artists and producers I was doing work for sports organizations and players. It was exciting things seemed to move so fast over a few months.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

I was doing work for a gym in Ellenwood, Georgia called Granite City Boxing. I did photos and their IG and made them a logo and some animations for their logo and posted them. A day later Honorable C.N.O.T.E. Came to the gym and asked the coach who was doing all these photos and graphics for them. Coach Lopez then called me up and told me he needed to meet with me about some graphics, once I arrived he took me over and introduced me to Honorable C.N.O.T.E. and the rest was history. Things just started to blow up from there!

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

I would tell them to be persistent and know your worth, never undervalue your work because one person isn’t willing to pay what you want.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

Outside of Honorable C.N.O.T.E. It would be a guy named Big Lou or BigUnlimited in the music industry he makes it happen and is one of the most honest people in the industry.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

I like always giving a leg up to others like it was done to me. Kind of a pay it forward.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

The significance of a person is not in what they have attained, but in what they long to attain.

How can our readers follow you on social media?
