Interview with Simon Mayhew (@collectiveagts)

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I have always had a passion for musical theatre. I trained as a dancer and then made the transition to becoming an agent 8 years ago.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

When COVID 19 hit, the theatre was hit badly and we came together to unite and form Collective Agents. We each had our own agencies but teamed up and merged with a voice-over agency and an agency on Broadway and Australia.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

Have time off your phone, be creative. Do something you’ve always wanted to do and EXPLORE!

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

My partner, Paul. Since starting up my agency, he has been my rock and has supported me through the tears and laughter.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

By constantly creating opportunities for my clients.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

You only live once! Its a common one but I live by it. We have decided to go travelling around Europe in a car to get away from London while COVID is going on.

How can our readers follow you on social media?
