Interview with Mohammed Muftawu (@momuftawu)

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I been always inspired by music, entertainment, and food. I see them as therapeutic. Always wanted to help young people and others and realise I can get their listening through music and also I realise everything around business involve music. Especially seeing how I’m making a difference in both residential homes for young people and managing a brand and artist.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

When a famous artist reaching out to me for coaching and management. And others seeing me as the next big entrepreneur in music. The most interesting is how people are reaching out and listening to my coaching advise.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

Faith, believe, and no be afraid of competition, your competitor can be your partner. Being you and living in your passion.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

I will say is God and my faith. My godmother once says following your dream and as though as it may be never giving up good dreams. So one day I say to my friends I’m going to start a business in residential and also in music. I’m gonna manage the best artist in the world they laugh at me and say how I don’t even own my home let alone I can get close to any artist and I can’t sing. I told them to watch me. And today I have some artist needing my management and coaching, I have residential supporting and transforming the lives of young people through music, and also opportunities to allow them to be coach my great artist.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

Giving voice to those who don’t have a voice, creating jobs and education for young people as a future generation. I get young people to meet the government to empower themselves and also to meet other artists to believe all is possible if you don’t give up.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

Creating something out of nothing and being unstoppable “power to create”. I’m a self-made entrepreneur. Music, entertainment, residential. Everything when I fail I look at what was missing and create it again not allowing the past to impact negatively to the present.

How can our readers follow you on social media?

I never use to be a social media till resent due to demand from other artists. So they can follow me on IG @momuftawu.
