Interview with Alexander Stogdill (@alex.stogdill2)

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

It all started in November when I was introduced to TikTok. I got it at first for fun than I randomly posted a video of me and my friends that grew to have over 75m views! After that, I started to just keep posting and tried to target the people who followed me from that video to know me and to follow my account for me. It was a struggle at first but I trusted to process and I am now at 750k followers!

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

The most interesting story would have to be the time I had a high school basketball game and got stormed by a ton of people who recognized me. I drew in a really big crowd and wasn’t used to that because it hasn’t happened before.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

Have fun and stay authentic, the more u keep it real and keep doing the things u love the less likely you will burn out.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

To be honest I give all my success to God. Wouldn’t have been able to make it without him. It all started when I was three days old. My biological parents couldn’t take care of me, they were drug addicts. Well, can’t even say parents cause it was a one-night thing. Anyway, the family that I’m with now got a call; At the time they were not wanting any more kids they already had three. So my sister Libby was at the house when the adoption agency called. She was taught never to answer the phone when nobody was home, blessed that she didn’t listen haha. Then she said to call back when her mom and dad get back home, so they did and they wanted me! Feel like all of this is the power of God. He’s given me so many chances and given me a purpose. I believe social media is my purpose, and I give All the credit to the Lord.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

I’m known for spreading positive and always talk to fans on live ab my personal experiences with life and it really helps them a lot, also Over the whole quarantine thing I’ve been helping feed my city and schools!

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

Phil 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ, for he who gives me strength”.

How can our readers follow you on social media?
