Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

For nearly two decades, I have submerged myself in all things marketing and advertising to be a student and marketing practitioner. Experience has been my best teacher. I started my career in the hospitality industry prior to going into marketing. The hospitality industry taught me more about people.

I began my marketing career working for one of the top three radio groups in the country. I was a marketing executive.

Later I was recruited by a CBS affiliate in Charleston, SC which launched my career in broadcast television. This knowledge of television and radio provided me with an unforeseen advantage within the industry.

I started my advertising agency, VIP Marketing, and Advertising an integrated advertising agency based in Charleston, SC that serving the continental United States in 2009 to be a client advocate and to provide each client with the best resources and services.

As digital media has surpassed traditional, I continue to align our focus on what works. My Philosophy is to partner with businesses to market to the right people, capture their attention, and get results with premium video production, design, media planning, and media distribution. We believe every business deserves Very Important Placement.

In 2015 I founded Craft Creative, a video production and creative design only agency that focuses only on creating the perfect unique message for national brands.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

I was able to work on political campaigns and had the opportunity to meet and discuss the Presidential election with Bill Clinton. See the article here https://www.pressreader.com/canada/vancouver-sun/20080124/281706905362455

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

Always reinvent your company and never get comfortable. Grow your team raise leaders within your company and they will take the majority of the burden away from you.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

I am grateful to my client George Sink who runs a large multi-state law firm. We’ve partnered with his law firm for over five years and have provided his firm with a marketing and creative approach that is unmatched within his category. Marketing his firm in the manner we have has helped to solidify me and my marketing agency VIP Marketing as industry leaders.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

I believe in community development before business development. During COVID19 our agency VIP Marketing and video production company Craft Creative donated computers to local community centers to ensure students would have access to the computer and the internet during the COVID19 pandemic.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

“Success is not owned it is rented and the rent is due every day.” This story encourages me to never be complacent and to always strive to do better in business. Once you achieve a level of success you can’t stop there you have to continue moving onwards.
