Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

Joining the entertainment field has been one of the best decisions made. I thank God for pulling me through this window of fate after leaving my football career behind due to an accident that I was involved in 2011.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

The most interesting thing that happened to me was having the privilege to sit behind scenes with A-Listers and being considered to be one of them without knowledge of who I really am. I was sitting backstage one time and I had incidentally run into a set of trailers and I was pulled aside by the director to ask a few questions for a feature role. Moments later I see “Tequan Richardson” headed in my direction. When he stopped we had a small conversation and a catch-up story. We ended up clicking right away and becoming friends.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

Stay focused, don’t give up even when things seem harder. Keep going and push the stable. There are late nights and early mornings so be prepared for the ultimate experience of taking good care of your health.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

I want to thank GOD for the journey and for growing the patience within me to move forward. I also would like to thank my parents, because without their tough love at moments in my life where I didn’t have everything together help build me as solid as I am today to continue to drive for what I want, no matter what life brings. If I want it, under any means necessary I WILL ACHIEVE. My mom has been on my back since day one of me playing football and my Father Has been the figure to help mold the clay my mother was putting together. As a team, they are amazing people and very well determined and driven for their goals in life.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

I have been opening opportunities for others to achieve their given goals in any field in life. I opened a production firm to help the team expense and bring their given ideas to life. I have also started a small donation organization to give towards those who suffer from depression, PTSD, or any mental illness the subdue the person form becoming the greatest that they can become.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

“You can achieve anything in life you put your mind to” after 2011 I was involved in an accident that almost ended my life. I was ejected out of the highway going over 70+ mph, in the middle of a heavy traffic populated highway in South Florida on my way to school at St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Knowing how powerful the mind is, having over 3+ therapist after my dismissal from the hospital when I was supposed to get out in 6+ months I was released in two, I ended up going back to school that January when I had a whole year of a leave absence because of my accident. I wanted to be apart of something more than anything and I ended up completing the season I was not supposed to complete as well as go to college and play when going to college was not an option in life anymore. Throughout my studies in the film as middle school and high school, I ended up making a career out of acting in 2016 and hung up the cleats. It was the hardest thing I had to do but I felt life goes on and football can’t be everything. It’s more to life than that.
