Nadim Muzayyin is a dedicated Lebanese-Singaporean venture investor based in Singapore. He is working as an analyst with DSG Consumer Partners, a leading India and Southeast Asia consumer venture fund, in helping manage and operate food & beverage restaurants, packaged food & drink and e-commerce portfolio brands. Some notable companies from Singapore, Indonesia and the UK include Chope, Ramblin’ Brands Raylex, The Golden Duck, Piccolo, Brewlander, Perromart, Growthwell, Perromart, YOUVit, SaladStop!, Vybes and Pip & Nit. Nadim is currently focusing is business on the Southeast Asian region and its growing consumer market.
Prior to DSG Consumer Partners, Nadim worked with the investment team at Golden Gate Ventures – a leading Singapore based technology venture fund and on J.P. Morgan’s Equity Capital Markets team in New York – as an Intern. He was heavily praised for his outstanding work in both these companies, some even referred to him as a natural-born leader who was mature beyond his age and with a great head on his shoulders.
For his early education Nadim attended Institute Le Rosey to study International Baccalaureate from 2008 to 2013 – a Swiss boarding school that set him up for what he wanted to do in life. Having a longing for studying business, he enrolled in New York University’s Stern School of Business in 2013. At his time at NYU majoring in Bachelor of Science in Business, he concentrated in Finance, Global Business & Data Sciences and graduated with top honors from Stern as a Dean’s List member, Founder’s Day Scholar, and as the Class of 2017’s commencement speaker. With strong roots in Southeast Asia, and a desire to invest in the region’s consumer sector, Nadim returned to Singapore after obtaining his undergraduate degree to build businesses in Southeast Asia.
When returning to Singapore, Nadim opted for two years of mandatory military service with the Singapore Police Force. For his contribution to public service from 2017 to 2019, Nadim was presented with both the Statuette Award and the Sword of Honour. Before completing his service, Nadim was posted to the specialist unit of the Public Transport Security Command, patrolling and protecting Singapore’s public transport systems and managing over 150 full-time national servicemen. At Sebrina Holdings, Nadim advises on the company’s private & public equity strategy, as a non-executive director of his family office. Nadim works with Aidha.org’s venture program as a mentor for domestic workers starting their own businesses. He also serves as a mentor for GIVE. Asia – helping raise funds and run food programs in Southeast Asia. Not only that, but Nadim is also a member of the Milken Institute’s Young Leaders Circle (YLC) where he contributes to consumer, health and food research along with initiatives for the Asia Center.
He married his American girlfriend, Chandler Mangum, in 2019 after being together for a little more than 8 years. They met in 2010 and studies together at NYU’s Stern School of Business where Chandler studied finance. Their marriage was held in a gorgeous ceremony at the well-known Aman Resorts in Sveti Stefan, Montenegro. The couple lives together in Singapore and runs an Instagram Food Blog (@singaporiyums) creating content about local food joints and their offerings.
In his free time, Nadim writes blogs about consumer brands and technology trends in Southeast Asia on his website (nadimmuzayyin.com). He greatly enjoys practicing mixed martial arts and yoga, traveling, skydiving, playing poker, meeting new people, and spending time with his friends and family. Nadim has a younger sister Nicole Muzayyin, a professional 13-year-old Go-Cart Racer in Singapore, and a younger brother Nabil Sean Muzayyin, an Associate Producer and Post Production Supervisor in the United Kingdom.
