Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
It’s been a lifestyle more than a career started really young never looked back and now I share what I’ve learned in the photography field via videos and workshops.
Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?
Every day has been interesting! I’ve seen a lot of changes in this industry and now those changes happen faster than ever. Fortunately I work in such a crazy genre of SFX shooting creatures and aliens etc never gets mundane. It’s honestly never dull and if it was I wouldn’t be doing it.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?
Always challenge yourself. The feeling of victory mixed with satisfaction that you elevated your game and keep yourself evolving will hold off the burn out. You want the admiration, work for it. You want people to PAY attention to you? EARN it.
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
Every colleague that let me on their sets and treated me as a peer. Legends like Joe McNally and highly respected legit professionals like Daniel Norton it’s really been an honor to be around so many amazing people.
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
I try to educate the aspiring people out there and to get them to a place where they not only feel accomplished but maybe even source some new income is amazing. It’s been a long road and it’s a tough industry but those passionate enough deserve something back so hopefully getting those people some extra income is helping this world. I have shot to raise money for charities like St Jude children’s hospital by creating images for art pieces to be sold at auction like the “It’s Alive Project”.
Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
Don’t buy into the hype. Invest in yourself. No gear will make you better you still have the same skill level in those same hands that holding whatever they sold you.
