Interview with Baddix Bags Collection (@_baddixcollection_)

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I have always wanted to start my own lip gloss business growing up being the only sibling was hard for me and in school, I wasn’t exactly what you would consider popular in fact I didn’t even have many friends so I told myself that I would figure out something to do that would help me engage with other people meet new people while at the same time making new friends so I had to think of something that all women love besides hair I came up with lip gloss Baddix Bags is a business that specializes in hand made products that include lip gloss lip scrubs and face oils LaLa the items are delivered in cute designed bags with labeled boxes.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

The most amazing thing that I have had happen to me is when I and my mom went to the mall and a few other teens recognized me from my Instagram I was so shocked and overwhelmed because I honestly don’t see myself as being popular.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

To stay persistent and never give up. If it’s something you want, work hard at it. There will be days when no one likes your post or comment but you haft to keep at it because winners never give up.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

My mother is my biggest inspiration she was a single parent and I literally watched her start a business with no money so she motivated me and I told myself if she can do it then so can I.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

I have donated $1000 to a single woman’s group and on weekends I feed the homeless and I am also working towards writing a book that will help inspire other teens just getting started in any business how to become successful the key tools to find vendors and how to get customers and keep them.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

Stand for something or fall for anything is a quote that always sticks in my head when I was 13 I would literally believe anything people would tell me at first it seemed easier to talk with someone my age but there were times when I took advice from my friends and it would backfire so that triggered me to follow my own trend and not what someone else may think about a given situation.
