Interview with Saif Ahmed (@saifalassiouty)

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I was a football player at Zamalek Sc and First Viena Fc youth teams and the youth national team of Egypt. From there comes the passion for the sports business.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

I’m the former owner of Alassiouty Sports Club an Egyptian football club which was sold in 2018 to Turki Elsheikh the former sports minister of Saudi Arabia and the club is currently named Pyramids Fc and is playing in the highest football division in Egypt.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

Self-development, reading a lot of books and always educate yourself.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

My father is one of the most successful businessmen in Egypt and I have learned a lot from him. His name is Mahmoud Alassiouty and he is very well known in the middle east.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

I’m trying to help where I can and social responsibility is one of the most important parts of any company.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

“Formal education will make you a living; self-education will make you a fortune.”

How can our readers follow you on social media?
