Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I always enjoyed hands-on work and getting dirty. I enjoy being outside and constantly being pushed to work harder and more efficiently.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

Hmm, I’d have to say being given the opportunity to move up into a spacing seat so quickly into my career, and also have the opportunity to gain experience in other ends of the pipeline. I was lucky to be surrounded by such a good group of guys that were able to teach me and help me grow.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

I would recommend living a healthy lifestyle and getting lots of rest as we work long days.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

About 6 months into working in the oilfield I met a guy named Cody Ferguson. Cody was my welder, but also ended up being one of my good friends. Our personalities combined were trouble. The laughs were endless. Cody knew how to have fun but he also knew when it was time to flip the lid and weld. Cody was a pusher, he would constantly push me to succeed and sometimes would put me in situations that were out of my comfort zone but in the end, it helped me out. Sometimes he would get frustrated with me but I don’t blame him, I can be a lot to handle. I’d couldn’t thank him enough because without him as a role model I can’t say I’d be the same person that I am today.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

I promote for Troll Clothing, part of the proceeds go to our Troops.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

“You miss 99% of the shots you don’t take” -Wayne Gretzky

This relates to me because I like to test myself and take every opportunity that I can so that I don’t miss out on anything in life.
