He listened to a Western song for the first time in the year 1998, which was called ‘La Copa de la Vida’. The song was about the World Cup and was sung by Ricky Martin. Ortega was so obsessed with its music, that he would spend hours sitting in front of the television hoping to listen to the song. Another one of his favorite songs was sung by the Back-Street Boys and was called ‘Show me the meaning’. The song entertained Ortega a great deal and it was the first song that he had memorized. In the year 2000, Ortega became obsessed with the song called ‘We Will Rock You’ by Five and would sing it while at school. He developed a liking for Western music and art. It was during his search on Western music, that Ortega came across a song by Eminem called ‘My Name Is’. The song influenced Ortega a great deal and led to his love for rap.

The first few years of his career proved to be the toughest. He underwent many hardships and obstacles, mainly due to the scarcity of instruments in the music industry at the time. However, Ortega continued his journey with patients and hope. He was very motivated and determined to succeed in the field of music. This drove him into overcoming all barriers along his path.

He was expelled from his school and news of his disgrace was also published in the newspapers of the Emirates. Though the incident left him feeling frustrated and more desperate than ever, it also pushed him into creating songs that were more meaningful and impactful. He kept working to improve his lyrics and sound. Soon after, he released his first-ever album called ‘I Challenge the World’ in the year 2010.
