Interview with Everton Luiz Almeida da Silva (@tomlarus)

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

Acting been part of my life since I’m a little kid, and with that, I was going to model agency as younger with mom. I choose this career because I’m fascinated by how I truly can be a different person in a set, I can be a surfer, I can be a cop, I can be a sexy cowboy. I love how I can explore and do my best with something I love to do it with is modeling and acting.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

I remember when I was in a pageant when I was teenage probably like 18, I didn’t win in first I was second place, but that moment that they call my name, and I was in stage and how everyone was so proud of me that was one of the best moment of my life.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

Just be confidence in yourself.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

Yes, definitely I could be more appreciative of having the support always of my best friends and family, they just are so lovely and always believe in my dreams and supporting me.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

I want to bring goodness to the world, help the younger people like me that we are able to be successful with our dreams, and things are possible. I want to be an example to my brothers and people that I love and for the young generation.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

I think I so many quotes that related to fear, in my entire life, that makes me stronger. We can’t let fear dominate us, when we believe and be confident in who we are, we can have anything in life we desire. In my life, I hear many people telling me I couldn’t do things, that made me fear life for a moment, but I told myself I would be the courage to do anything and I did, after graduating acting school in Rio de Janeiro Brazil I moved to LA, for studying English, and after that, I moved to Miami where I’m living now and I love it.

How can our readers follow you on social media?

My page is @tomlarus, and I would love to have everyone to see my journey as a mister universal Brazil, I’m so excited to represent my country in the USA.
