Interview with Christian Paul Watches (@christianpaulwatches)

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

Watch manufacture started when I named the brand after my son “Christian Paul” – I had a marble design in mind and I knew it was special – the colour palette was inspired by Bondi beach and is still our number 1 timepiece.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

Selena Gomez was gifted a watch by a fan at her Sydney show where she stopped took off her Rolex in front of the press and posed with a Christian paul timepiece. We sold out of that style every day for months.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

My advise is do what makes you passionate – different people have different passions and each can be catered to different departments in the business. If you do what you love you will never burn out.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

My marketing manager – who is now the CEO is my biggest inspiration – Zaid Alsulaibi. His love for the brand is what helped us design and deliver the product to the world.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

The logo represents 11:25 which is the time of my sons birth – I feel that I have done my family proud and that is my biggest feeling of success. With our new collection we are also moving into vegan leather straps.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

“Make time for whats important to you” – that is what I went out and done – literally.
