Marcos Komodromos (@i_boy)


Marcos Komodromos is a TV and Radio presenter based in Cyprus. He is also the Founder and Owner of his PR Company, 360 Chartered PR Consultants. Marcos has been part of the media industry for around seventeen years now. He started as a radio host in Cyprus in 2003 and then eventually as a Television host from 2007 onwards. Marcos is incredibly well-known in Cyprus, Greece, and Romania, not just because of his media presence, but also because of his successful career as a motivator in Public Relations and Communications. He has worked on influencer campaigns with several world-renowned brands such as SONY Mobile in Cyprus and for a Toyota car model in 2017.

When he started his career in the media in 2003, he had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing countless well-known actors, actresses, media personalities, and singers. He also had the privilege of attending the NRJ Music Awards in Cannes last year. He is currently a radio presenter and program Director at NRJ Cyprus Radio Station. Despite all his success in the media industry, Marcos has stayed humble, kind, and true to himself. He values authenticity and selflessness over all other qualities.

Marcos loves to travel and has spent a lot of his time travelling in the past. He is also working on a travel project as a blogger at the moment. He is very active and extremely popular on social media. You can find him on Instagram under @i_boy where more than seventy-four thousand people follow him. He stays true to who he is on social media, often posting motivational captions, pictures of his travels and candid behind the scenes pictures from his shows.

However, Marcos is more than just another media personality. He has a Ph.D. in Business and Technology Management in the area of organizational justice, trust, fairness, and the management of change as well as two postgraduate degrees from distinguished universities such as the Northcentral University of Arizona, the US, and the EU Business School, Montreux, Switzerland. Alongside his radio shows, he is currently an Assistant Professor of Communication & Public Relations at the University of Nicosia in the Department of Communications School of Humanities, Social Sciences & Law. His career has extended across consulting, teaching and presenting and includes successfully publishing several works on organizational behaviour, public relations, new media, and social media, marketing, corporate, and internal communications.

He owns and leads the team at 360 Chartered PR Consultants. His experience in the field of public relations, as well as his collaboration with a significant number of companies in Cyprus and abroad, make him one of the leading professionals in the field. As the holder of the highest certification of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and as the Chartered PR practitioner, Marcos has undertaken the design and implementation of strategic plans for companies and organizations of all sizes in Cyprus and abroad. Also, he is a certified trainer by the Cyprus Human Resources Development Authority and has more than 11,500 hours of professional training in areas such as Corporate Communication, Public Relations, Customer Service, Management, and social networking strategy.

His great success, in the media industry as a radio and TV host and producer; as a Professor as well as a Chartered PR professional attest to the fact that Marcos is not only amazingly versatile in both his talents and passions but also incredibly driven and a diligent hard worker. Although working in the media industry is far more glamorous, Marcos loves and enjoys both his jobs equally. He pours in his heart and soul into all of his work and that is what sets him apart from many others. His dedication to his passion, quick problem-solving skills, and his natural leadership qualities allow him to tackle all the obstacles he faces in his fields head on and to not dread, but anticipate new and exciting challenges he may face in the future.
