Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?
I have wanted to be an entrepreneur since I was very young. I worked with my father who owned a company and I thought it was amazing how he was able to work directly with his clients and help them. I wanted the same quality relationships that he had with my clients in the aesthetic and beauty industry.
Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?
I have been able to meet and work with a lot of celebrities at my Beauty Expo and see how hard-working and professional they can be at events, taking interviews, talking to my clients. I thought it was amazing to see Colton Underwood talking to every single client at one of my events, and taking photos with them. I thought it was very classy that he took the time to make them feel good. I think in general, we have had some amazing celebrities attend and host our events.
Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?
I think for the aesthetic and beauty industry, which is non stop, never-ending events and activities, I would advise them to go slow as opposed to too fast when it comes to success. I feel a slow road is better because it helps you to “not burn out”, become exhausted, and take on too much. It’s best to work hard when you can but get the sleep and downtime that you need.
None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?
I am grateful to my late family members, my Grandmother, Father, and Mother, they are all the inspiration that keeps me going every day. Everything that they did for me growing up and all the support they gave me helps me to be strong and keep going because they believed in me.
How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
I have done a lot of free work for people over the years to help them launch their aesthetic businesses, and have worked very hard for free for many people during COVID19 even when I made no money for 2 months, I still worked for them and worked hard and for free. I started charging just a tiny amount of money in the 3rd month and for those that pitched in, I was truly grateful. When people need help with things, I am always helping them for free.
Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?
My Grandmother always taught me, “You are better alone than in bad company” and that just means, if people are bringing you down, you need to move on and sometimes be alone for a while until you meet and can connect with the right people who are good to you. Not all clients and people you work with are the best for you, and I just suggest to people, move on, and work alone for a bit, until you find the right team.
