Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

Since I was 12 years old I really love hip hop music and I have started to write songs and year after year my name in my Country was everywhere in terms of underground music. I made a lot of concerts and freestyle battles, TV and radio shows, etc. Now I have decided that music will be my life, my work. During my childhood my father and especially my sister introduced me to rap music with Italian artists or Tupac and B.I.G. but once, I was watching MTV and My Name Is (Eminem’s first video) appeared and that day I said to myself: “I wanna be like him”.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

My dream was to work with Italian or American famous rappers, for example, my idols D12 (Eminem crew) and I realized my dream in 2017.

On YouTube, you can watch my video with Bizarre of D12. After 3 years I have got a collaboration with a legend of hip hop, one of my favorite rappers: Busta Rhymes. The release date was in March 2020. Because of this global lockdown and this emergency with Coronavirus, producers going very slow because of the restrictions in my Country: Italy. Anyway looks like they still working on it and in May I’ll be the first Italian rapper that works with a beast like Busta Rhymes.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

I guess the secret is to be a public persona, of course, the meantime does not reveal every single aspect of your life, if not people tend to be very judgemental. Use carefully social media during your private life.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

To be honest almost 100% of my achievements are thanks to myself because year after year I did not accept rules in my career, maybe refusing important contracts. Anyway, people that decided to follow me appreciated my way to deal with it. Now I am working with an Italian v.i.p. that is also my manager. He discovered me when I was 18 years old and now we work together.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

I believe in karma. So everything good happens to me I have to share it with my fans. Sometimes (I know it is not too much but) I make a giveaway for them because I can feel I am very lucky and I want to give something. I also try to be a good example and do not speak to young people about drugs through my lyrics and also when I receive a DM on Instagram I always try to reply and help them, also if they need to be motivated with simple things: e.g. “Hey Ossido! Thanks for your music. I really do not want to study today.”

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

I suffered in the past because of bad people trying to destroy what I have done. One day I have decided to do not to suffer anymore and change my life, totally. I took a flight to the UK and just did not care about negative people and now I am a very positive person. It is everything in our mind, our mind is very powerful.

How can our readers follow you on social media?

I usually like Instagram so follow me searching Ossidomaster but I am really active on YouTube and my artist’s name is the same everywhere: Ossido Master. Spotify, I-Tunes, YouTube, etc. Living in the UK, people continuously asking me to drop English rap music and I try to make it so sometimes you can understand my lyrics or part of them.
