Interview with Paris Shirley Winarto (@parisshirleywinarto)

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I always love flowers since I was little, and so during college, I decided to take a short course of flower arranging and ikebana, it just took off from there. And after a while, I opened a flower shop and it led to another thing, a coffee shop, record store, event.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

A lot of interesting stories from customers.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

Learn how to control your waste, maximize the selling, and always be creative.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

My family always supports me.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

Yes, we share a small percentage of our sales for orphanage houses and kids with cancer.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

What doesn’t kill me makes me stronger.

How can our readers follow you on social media?

They can follow me @parisshirleywinarto.
