Interview with Tyler Gil (@fangbladee)

falnnnnnnggggggggggg

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I choose this path because I realized later the impact of social media on success as an artist nowadays.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

I never made music in the first place I am not born with the talent I have to reach that type of skills to be able to write good songs and produce them the way I want, I started from recording on my old phone and now I have my own studio, When I turned nineteen I stayed in my room and just rapped and practice for being the best, I am switching a lot of styles on almost every song until I will find the one that catches the audience in the best way and reflects me at the best way as an Artist, the most intense situation that I’ve been because of music were when I went to mix my first song and the engineer agreed but he said first he has to take that DMT hit and I was the one who had to stay and keep everything under control, of course, in the end, he freaked out and the song came up a with a little weird sound. The song called “Hold Me” by FangBladee.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

The best tips I would recommend probably keep the hard work, this is one of the most important things that helped me to reach a higher connection with music, I stayed for a long time in my room just writing songs and rap on everything I saw.

Know what you want, this is also important because in case that you want to be the best you have first know what is your expectations from the process, from you being Artist, what is the concept are you inspiring? Make it more clear for yourself and for everybody else.

Anyway just know that it is really necessary to get yourself a team which helped you to get a huge amount of success.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

First, I want to say thanks to myself. I think I deserve all the credit on any kind of move or success in my life. I believe in hard work and some good help from close friends.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

Nowadays most of the time I invest in helping people find themself which is with music or just talk to them, I still have a lot to do and I think every day I just getting stronger and more woke with a lot of energy just to help and give advice.

One thing is for sure, once I reach that level of success I’ll never be numb to a situation.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

“Without hard work, there is no success”.

There’s a lot of people who have a word on that one and the reason is that people always trying to find the easiest way and the fastest way to get something, in the music you can see the type of “industry planet” which is not working hard and get them self-mount of success but the question all the time is what the cost is? How much did someone pay for getting this way? And I am not talking about money because there’s a lot of ways you can sell yourself and your beliefs. I feel a connection with that sentence because I never get the option to do things in the music industry in an easy way, I live in Israel we don’t really have an industry, so you got to do that yourself or say goodbye, In my life separate the music I got a lot of options to do things in an easy way and I choose that and I’m good with the choices I made, but I will always prefer hard work!
