Interview with Tammy Napoli (@Glamtam_)

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I started in aesthetics about 10 years ago as I was battling acne and melasma. I wanted answers and clear skin that my aesthetician couldn’t give me. So I dove deep and read everything I could. I took all the classes, I have over 30 certifications, and attend trade shows every year to stay on top.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

All my happy patients are the most interesting thing about this industry. I love helping them get on the right path to make their end goal; beautiful glowing skin.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

Live in the moment with each patient, take joy in knowing you have all the tools to keep them happy with their skin.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

Everything I learned was on my own, being an Aesthetician wasn’t as popular 10 years ago as it is now.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

I would Like to think that by me giving complimentary skin consultations, in person and by FaceTime anywhere in the world is a way of helping people with skincare goals and bringing goodness.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

If there’s a thing I’ve learned in my life it’s to not be afraid of the responsibility that comes with caring for other people. What we do for love: those things endure. Even if the people you do them for don’t “There are plenty of people we can never please, just don’t take it personally and don’t stop giving”.
