Interview with Allwell Ibama Dj-kev (@_djkev_)


Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path? 

I have always loved music and I wanted to take music as a career since I was a kid and I started off at church playing then drums and keyboard by as time went on I traveled to Russia where I studied Mec eng and my music career also started there and here I am today I have been a Dj for about 10 years now.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this? 

How I met the artist I work with presently, I met her in Maryland before she blew up and she went to Nigeria. And became so big, when she came back she looked for me and signed me on with her I’m happy because my dream is coming to reality.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”? 

Stay focused. Keep the grind on it will Surely pat off.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story? 

A lot of people have helped me in the industry LAX TENI TIMAYA RUNTOWN AND and many more, Teni has always been there for me.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world? 

I’m proud to say I have music and Dj academy I run, I teach and mentor people on how to be a Dj. Not just a Dj but a good Dj.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life? 

Life is a teacher just learn from it.
