Interview with Ryan El (@7jezus_)

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

Artists that I have produced for have told me to make my profile legit and to show that your page authentic attempts to get verified. So here we are now.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

I started my career in Springfield Massachusetts to now having my headquarters and being based in Atlanta GA, the hub of hip hop right now.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

Pace yourself. The only person you are racing is yourself.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

My mixing engineer @1swif. Once I moved to Atlanta I found an amazing mixing engineer that helped me create this futuristic sound and artist known as “JeZus”. And the most fascinating part was the first session we made magic by saying a single word. I knew I found the missing piece to the puzzle with this one.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

Yes, I’m from a small city where many don’t make it out. So I show how to stay humble and modest. Never to take anything for granted.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

Follow your intuition. Follow that feeling in your gut or that voice in your head only you can hear. I always knew I would be doing this, with dreams if everyone making it with me. I put the artist ahead of my own career and saw it backfire. And the worst part was of all was it was someone I create the record label with. So if you know what you want to accomplish do not leave the success in another person’s hands.
