Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I have always had a desire to help heal people. When I was young my mom not only encouraged us to look our best but to also fuel our body with healthy stuff. While in medical school I would do research about healthy and holistic approaches to wellness and that’s why I chose this career path.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

One of my favorite treatments that we do is PRP hair restoration. I had a client who was in her seventies and was very insecure about her thinning hair. After a couple of treatments, she began to notice drastic results and she couldn’t wait to tell me. As she was sharing with me her eyes began to fill with tears of joy and I was so honored that I played a part in helping her to feel good about herself again.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

I would recommend to my colleagues to not only focus on treating the outward beauty of our clients but also make sure to offer treatments that make them healthier. While we all want the outside to look good we also need the inside to function well. If we can help both of those things it makes our job truly rewarding and fulfilling.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

My sister Brenda who is a phenomenal hair artist has been my biggest supporter from the beginning. She has helped me to get organized and believe in myself when I needed it the most. I remember one time when the business just began I was painting our treatment room all by myself and Brenda showed up in her paint clothes to help me finish. Its moments like those that help you continue.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

Since my passion is to help people live healthy lives I thought what better way to do that than to provide clean drinking water to those who down have it. We’ve partnered an organization called Hope Global is Southeast Asia and Africa. So far Medworks has purchased built two water wells that provide fresh, clean water to thousands of people every day.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

One of my favorite quotes is “Life is not about the number of breaths that you take but about the number of moments that take your breath away”. At Medworks we exist so that people can look good and feel great so that people can enjoy their life to it’s fullest potential.

How can our readers follow you on social media?

The best way to follow us is on Instagram where we upload dramatic before and after photos along with the video of treatments that we offer.
