Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I grew up in California. I didn’t graduate high school and I ended up going to prison when I was still in high school. There was a period in time where I was also homeless and living in my friend’s shed in his back yard for a little while. Once I got out of prison after a few years I then moved to Dallas Texas to change my life. I tried to go to school and ended up getting denied from the major university due to my felony and I couldn’t get a job for almost a year. I finally landed a job at a restaurant in which I became a dishwasher and a busboy.

I then decided that if I couldn’t get an education I would educate myself. I also decided that if I couldn’t get a job then I would work for myself. I then started dabbling in the stock market and fell in love with day trading and investing. I ended up spending thousands of dollars to learn how to trade and started making money. I also started falling in love with social media marketing and I began to build a following as I became more and more successful.

I believe that because of my history. A lot of people look up to me because I have been through so much and still found a way to become successful. I am currently self-employed. Trading forex from my phone and I do lots of internet marketing and social media influencing.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

3 of my family members actually passed away in January 2019. My little sister and grandma were killed in a car accident on the way to church and then about a week later my grandma who helped raise me also died. At the time I wasn’t as successful as I am now but when this happened it lit a fire inside me. After they passed away, I currently lead a sales team of over 2,000 members worldwide.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

Keep your mind strong. Listen to personal development. Protect your energy from negative and toxic people. Your mindset and energy are what will take you to success. Once you have a strong vision. The rest will fall into place. God will start to bring the things you need into your life and it is your job to be well equipped on a mental level so that you can handle the hardships throughout your journey. People need to understand, it’s not “IF” a hardship will happen it’s “WHEN”, and when problems do come, will you be ready? Grow yourself every day. Remind yourself of your vision and why you’re working towards it. Remain humble, remain a student, be disciplined, be consistent and have faith. Pray like it’s up to GOD, work like it’s up to YOU.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

I have had so much help towards my success by so many people that it would almost be impossible for me to name anyone specifically. It would be an injustice to the rest of the people who have helped me.

My family has played an enormous role in my success. My friends, my business team, and even my dog whom I travel the world with.

My family has been there when I was in debt, they have helped me financially when I really needed it. My friends helped me stay “sane” and supported me throughout the journey. They always gave me positive energy. At some point, I was in debt and needed a job and it was one of my close friends that ended up getting me the perfect job that enabled me to make decent money while having the flexibility to work on my dreams.

My team made me who I am. Shoutout to the walking ATMs. (ATMs) for making me a success. They helped keep me consistent and confident. They through me surprise parties, they got me a business award since I never graduated high school. They have been so amazing, without them. I would not have the life that I have.

My dog, the crisis has literally been a huge mental crutch for me. There have been times where I would just want to cry myself to sleep and he was the emotional support that I needed to keep moving to the next day.

Lastly, without God, I would have nothing. I acknowledge that I am a normal person and with God’s grace I am a powerful person. I acknowledge that I am no one special but with God’s power, I am special. I acknowledge that I would have none of my success or material riches without God.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

I believe that one of the biggest problems in people’s lives is their self-confidence. I believe that throughout my success I have been able to show people that I am NOT special. EVERYONE is special.

Most people believe in OTHER people more than they believe in themselves. It is great to believe in other people but I believe that there is an epidemic of low self-esteem. Most people say they believe in themselves and have a high self-esteem but the reality is, they don’t.

Throughout my success, I have worked on helping people around the world build their self-love. I love to teach people to bet on THEMSELVES. I teach them that they are powerful and that they are strong and they are worthy of success. Think about it. NO ONE can make YOU successful. Only YOU can make YOURSELF successful. So the best gift you can give someone is SELF LOVE. If you can get people to love themselves more, they will obtain success. They will love others because they move, they will chase their dreams because they believe in themselves and cannot be bullied because their self-esteem is high.

I think that if you can really sit down with someone and figure out what their mental blockage is then you can remove that block from their minds and make them EXPLODE with mental momentum. It’s amazing if your friends and family support you but people who are chasing success need to hear from other successful people that they are powerful. It just registers different within their minds. I think that if we can spread more love and positivity in this world. We can literally change the world. Hateful things happen from people that hate themselves. Love happens from people that love themselves.

Lastly, I have truly been pushing people towards God. I think that people really need to know God if we want our world to change for the better.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

My favorite life quote is “how are you going to beat me if I’m playing inside my own head”. And “Against All Odds”.

The first quote is so powerful because most people look at the outside world to define their reality, but if you understand law of attraction then you know that everything starts within your mind and within yourself.

So if you look at the world to dictate your mindset and your reality. Then you will never be successful or happy. You will ALWAYS lose if you try to fight against the world. But if you play inside your own head then you will win every time. For example, you might have a negative bank account in “real life” and that will always make you feel bad. You will ALWAYS look like you’re losing if you look at reality. But in your head you can be RICH you can be a MILLIONAIRE. How are they going to best you if you’re playing in YOUR OWN HEAD? You will ALWAYS win because you are in control. Once you truly understand this. Then the results in your head will manifest into your reality.

This co-exists with “against all odds” I have always felt I was the underdog in life. I have never been had the odds on my side. I have never been smart or in a great position to win, but I never let that stop me from going against the odds because I ALWAYS played inside my own head.
