Interview with Sophie Grace Hirschfelder (@hirschygrace)

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I was scouted on Oxford St in London, the UK by Select Model Management.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

Not necessarily a story per se. Since I started this my whole life changed. So for me, the whole narrative from when I began is interesting because it was a complete lifestyle change. A lot of travel, a lot of different places and faces and feelings. Not all good but not all bad.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

Know yourself and if you don’t love yourself then learn how to. Set boundaries so you aren’t walked over and find things that you love to keep preoccupied with on the side.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

I acquired some wisdom and strength from my family unit and I am grateful for that. My therapist has helped me to become closer to myself in my adult life. I am grateful to many situations and people over the years that have influenced my journey.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

I try to do my best. Knowledge is power so I try to learn as much as I can while traveling about different cultures and the struggles of others, so do not be ignorant.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

Be kind to yourself.
