INTERVIEW WITH SAMMY & LESEN

Sammy and lessen.....4

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

We have always had a love for music but working together as brothers have built a stronger relationship between us that we both have been passionate about since we were young. Still reminiscing on our first concert and watching Tiesto perform live and exert so many emotions on stage, made us both feel the same emotions and connect; we want to make the public feel the way they made us both feel that night. At that moment, we felt too young to proceed with what we but to this day, Tiesto is still our biggest inspiration.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

Beyond countless memories, from traveling the world, meeting amazing people that we never expected to change our lives, and creating bonds with those people and taking away something from every memory we have made from them, the experience within it all has become our greatest joy.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

Focus on your work because you are the only person who can improve yourself. Do not envy the work of others, but always appreciate it and carry all of your work with the passion that you build it with and appreciate every bit of effort you put in.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

The beginning of our progress is never easy like it is for most of us. Throughout all of the support we have got, we are most grateful for our family (especially mom and dad), our manager who has been there so many times to guide us when we definitely needed it but most importantly, our relationship as brothers. We could mention the countless amount of times where we felt as if we were experiencing the lowest part of our careers and we just wanted to drop everything and move on to a completely new chapter of our lives, but truthfully, we have been each other’s biggest strengths. As cliche as it sounds, when one of us felt like we were about to fall, the other one was always there to lean on. No matter how old we grow, brotherhood will be our most valuable thing inside or outside of work.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

We have always shared our emotions through music and day by day, we desire to leave a legacy behind us to inspire new generations and people to work for what they are passionate about. After years of being involved in the music industry, we have yet to accomplish all of our goals, whereas, there is still plenty of time to do so. If we can inspire others to do the same, that will become the most successful part of our careers.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

“The Best Is Yet To Come” is more than black ink that SAMMY has on his body but also, words that we picked up from our dad years ago. Ideally, at the time, we struggled to improve the quality of our lives and at the time, the success that we have found recently was completely transparent at the time. Our dad has represented so many strong characteristics as a man and a father so it would be difficult not to want to follow in the way he embraces and pushes through difficulties. As emotional as it is to think about, it became one of the most memorable things he has ever said to us and the most important things we remind us of, consistently.
