Interview with Mytho Felix

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

It has been passed down generation to generation and after working beside my father, I knew I was destined to help others through spiritual healing. Ever since I’ve honed my craft as a master by guiding my customers through in-depth tarot readings, cleanings, blessings and many more aspects of esoteric growth.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

I began doing ceremonies at just six years old, and I was scared about controlling the power of spirits. My dad was the only one capable of controlling them for me. During one ceremony, the spirit took over my body for 72 hours. Unfortunately, my dad was out of the country. Over one hundred people came to my house and attempted to heal me. They all failed. As a last hope, we called my dad. He cut his trip short and flew back to Haiti in a hurry. He restored my conscience within ten seconds.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

Always balance your own energy. Uphold honesty with yourself, your staff, and clientele.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

My dad. He showed me the first step in opening a botanica and becoming a spiritual leader. To this day he continues to guide and support me. I always have and always will, deeply appreciate that.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

A good part of my botanica’s profits are annually donated to my homeland of Haiti. Beyond that, my father instilled high values and morals which I’ve practiced every day at my business. I’ve bestowed these standards to each customer, employee, and associate of my business. I aim to make sure everyone feels at home and equally welcomed here.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

I always tell my customers to focus on themselves first and to treat others with respect. I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing many people complete life-changing journeys for the better.
