Interview with Dale Rodriguez (@dale_of_fade)

Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

All my life I’ve loved art and travel. The hairstyle is my form of art and I’ve cut hair already in scenic places that nobody has done before and nobody can recreate example Shiekh Zayed Mosque Abu Dhabi. I have done the haircut of some big names including movlogs, hushpuppies, DJ bliss Dubai, Tam Khan, etc.  I’ve worked with my industries’ most leading barbers and was on a sneaker show that I’m listed on IMDB for.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

I’ve been flown out to Dubai every year to work for beats and cuts Dubai. The owner DJ bliss at Dubai and myself are friends and I’ve done some iconic things that have never been done in Dubai before and cut and met some rich people including cutting Dubai’s richest car collector and making videos with him named @doncasanova

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

Keep creativity and always never be afraid to try new things. Always seek adventure because our craft is needed worldwide and so are, we.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

Many people who helped me out in this industry but my big brother @willisthebarber celebrity barber has helped me to grow and given me a lot of advice in this industry and DJ bliss for annually bringing me out to Dubai to work.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

Yes, I’ve made many people giving them achievable looks that they never thought they could have. I have advised them into new hairstyles that may have changed their life at home or even scored them a new job. I’ve inspired many in this industry to travel and see the world for what it is just through a haircut. It is possible because of haircutting importance is in worldwide. I’ve shown that as a barber you can have nice things and you can go to nice places.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

No-Risk No Reward. Every time I’ve traveled in the beginning, I risked leaving my friends and clients behind to make less money, traveling and leave them without important haircuts just for the opportunity to grow. I’ve risked my family life due to the long hours every day in the shop to please my clients and friends.

How can our readers follow you on social media?

dale_of_fade on Instagram or google dale of fade or watch my youtube Chanel @barbertechtips. I’m also an influencer on amazon to help my clients buy a product I recommend for easier self-care at home.
