Thank you so much for joining us! Can you tell us a story about what brought you to this specific career path?

I am a navy officer and I love to travel. I have been to more than 50 countries both for leisure and work. I am one of the Philippine navy chroniclers which means that I do blogging for some travels of the navy. If you search my name, Lieutenant Junior Grade Errol Dela Cruz, you will see articles on the internet about my voyages. I am married to a famous newscaster in the Philippines. Aside from that, I am also known as an advocate of youth empowerment.

Can you share the most interesting story that happened to you since you started doing this?

I was offered some job collaborations using Instagram. I do a bit of an influencer job. I had worked with Spotify, Maine coon company, and grab for their social marketing. Most importantly, through my posts, I can inspire a lot of Filipinos to travel and enjoy life. I receive a lot of beautiful messages from my followers and that is the most interesting part for me. Also, some celebrities started to follow me on IG.

Which tips would you recommend to your colleagues in your industry to help them to thrive and not “burn out”?

Just be consistent and love what you are doing. Have fun and be always sincere with your posts.

None of us are able to achieve success without some help along the way. Is there a particular person who you are grateful towards who helped get you to where you are? Can you share a story?

My wife is my inspiration. She helps me a lot. Especially that she is a TV personality, Instagram became a platform to be a part of her public world.

How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?

I share travel tips and a lot of smart hacks. I spread positivity and goodwill. I share inspiration to people who would like to travel but are hesitant. I am sharing my stories to inspire them to live their lives to the fullest.

Do you have a favorite “Life Lesson Quote”? Can you share a story of how that was relevant to you in your life?

“Life is best played without a script.” I always believe in the beauty of spontaneity. The thrill and excitement of just living life. The surprises of tomorrow and the anticipation of what it is to come. If you are responsible for your life, I think living it one day at a time and enjoying every moment of it is a gift everyone deserves.
